Nhật Bản giúp Pakistan khảo sát và bảo quản di sản văn hoá

Từ Islamabad, Thủ Tướng Đặc Trách Văn Hoá, Thể Thao và Thanh Niên Muhammad Ajmal Khan đã nói rằng Nhật Bản rất chú tâm trong việc khảo sát và bảo quản di sản văn hoá phong phú của Pakistan ngoài việc khai quật các địa điểm khảo cổ mới trong vùng Moenjodaro va Harpa.
Trong sự quan tâm này, Nhật Bản sẽ giúp đỡ bảo tồn nền văn minh Phật Giáo và duy trì các vùng cổ tích lịch sử.
Trong cuộc gặp gỡ với vị đại sứ Nhật Bản Nobuka Tanaka, ông ta đã tuyên bố quan điểm của ông như thế.
Vị Tổng Trưởng Văn Hóa, Jalil Abbas cũng có mặt trong buổi hội thảo này.
Trong khi nhấn mạnh về di sản văn hoá phong phú của Pakistan và quyết định của chính phủ trong sự quảng bá và sự gìn giữ di sản cổ xưa, vị Thủ Tướng nói rằng chính phủ hiện tại đã làm hết sức để trình bày cho thế giới thấy nền văn hoá phong phú của Pakistan và đưa ra những hình ảnh hoà hợp của Pakistan xuyên qua do`ng lịch sử lâu dài.
Vị Thủ Tướng cũng cho đại sứ Nhật Bản biết rằng cơ quan UNESCO đã có một chương trình phục hồi và bảo quản vùng Moenjodaro và tòa nhà trong công viên khảo cổ của Moenjodaro. Đồng thời vị đại sứ Nhật Bản cũng được giới thiệu về pho`ng triển lãm nghệ thuật quốc gia.
Để tỏ lòng ngưỡng mộ về di sản văn hoá phong phú và một lịch sử cổ xưa của Pakistan, Nobuka Tanaka, vị đại sứ Nhật Bản đã nói rằng nước Pakistan đã có một nền văn minh cổ xưa và phong phú nhất chẳng hạn như nền văn minh khai hóa tại những vùng Indus và Gandhara, Moenjodaro và Harpa mà không nơi nào trên thế giới có được như vậy.
Vị đại sứ nói thêm rằng đã có hàng ngàn du khách tới nước Pakistan hàng ngày từ các quốc gia Phật Giáo để được chiêm ngưỡng nền văn minh Phật Giáo và các chùa tháp, trong khi vùng bắc Pakistan có những cảnh đẹp và là nơi rất có giá trị đáng để cho thế giới chiêm ngưỡng.
Để quảng bá di sản văn hoá phong phú của Pakistan và tăng thêm mối liên hệ giữa dân chúng, vị đại sứ Nhật Bản nói rằng sự trao đổi văn hoá phải được thực hành qua các cơ quan, các tổ chức tư nhân . Trong chiều hướng này, có 25 họa sĩ sẽ đến từ Nhật Bản và một đại hội về thực phẩm Nhật Bản sẽ được tổ chức nơi đây. Ông nói thêm rằng ông sẽ tham dự các buổi lễ trong tuần lễ kỷ niệm Gandhara. Ông tán dương sự cố gắng của bộ Văn Hoá đã đề bạt nghệ thuật cũng như di sản văn hoá cuả Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Culture, Sports and youth Affairs Muhammad Ajmal Khan has said that Japan is interested to explore and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan besides the excavation of new sites in Moenjodaro and Harpa. In this regard, Japan will provide assistance in the preservation of Bhudda Civilization and archeological sites.He expressed these views while holding meeting with Japan Ambassador, Nobuka Tanaka. Secretary Culture, Jalil Abbas was also present on this occasion. While highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and commitment of the government for the promotion and preservation of Ancient heritage, the Minister said that the present government was doing its level best to portray the rich culture and soft image of Pakistan through its ancient and rich history to the world. The Minister informed the Ambassador that UNESCO had master plan for rehabilitation and preservation of Moenjodaro site and building of archeological park in Moenjodaro. The Japanese ambassador was also informed about National Art Gallery. Paying tribute to the rich cultural heritage and ancient history of Pakistan, Nobuka Tanaka, ambassador of Japan said that Pakistan has some of the oldest and rich civilization and archaeological sites like Indus Civilization and Gandhara, Moenjodaro and Harpa sites that have no match in the world. Ambassador further said that thousands of visitors coming to Pakistan every day from Buddhist countries in order to see Budhist Civilization and stupas while Northern Areas of Pakistan have some of the world worth seeing and beautiful places that these need to explored. In order to promote the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and increase people to people contact, Ambassador said that exchange of adult groups and culture groups should be taken place. In this regard, 25 artists are coming from Japan and Japan food festival will be held. He further said that he would take part in Gandhara week Celebrations. He lauded the efforts of culture for the promotion of art and cultural heritage of Pakistan.

Hội Phật tử Singapore xây dựng nhà cho nạn nhân Tsunami tại Tich Lan

Bà Angie Monksfield, chủ tịch của công trình này, tuyên bố rằng: “Đây không phải là một việc làm dễ dàng, nhưng chúng tôi được động viên do nhận được sự giúp đỡ từ chính quyền. Chúng tôi đề nghị gọi công trình này là công trình Merlion mà hình tượng trưng cho hai quốc gia là hình Sư Tử.

Bà thêm vào:“ Tôi tin tưởng rằng chúng tôi là nhóm đầu tiên tại Singapore được phân phối một mảnh dất rộng lớn cho công trình xây dựng lại nhà cửa cho nạn nhân Tsunami. Chúng tôi rất hảnh diện được đai diện đồng bào Singapore để giúp đỡ những nạn nhân của sóng thần tại Tích Lan”.

Bà đã hướng dẫn một phái đoàn gồm có 7 chuyên viên trong chuyến đi thứ nhì tới Tích Lan từ ngày 10 đến ngày 15 tháng Hai cho công trình xây dựng lại nhà cửa này.

Nhóm này đã gặp ông Bộ Trưởng của Bộ Phát Triển Thành Phố và Hệ Thống Cung Cấp Nước là Ông Dinesh Gunawardena, và viếng thăm vùng đất được phân phối để bảo đảm vùng đất này thích hợp và đường xá tiện lợi, dễ dàng cho sự phát triển việc dẫn nước và dẫn điện.

Một nhóm người Tích Lan tại địa phương được chỉ định để đảm nhận công việc kiến trúc và kỹ thuật cao, và đồng thờì quản lý công trình với các chuyên viên Singapore.

Buddhist Fellowship Singapore builds homes for Sri Lankan tsunami victims

Singapore -- The Buddhist Fellowship Singapore has been allocated 6.5 hectares of land by the Sri Lankan government to build 500 homes for tsunami victims. The Tsunami Re-Housing Project in Payagala, Sri Lanka, is estimated to cost $3.5 million.
The Buddhist Fellowship has since applied to the Singapore Red Cross for funding.The project's chairperson, Angie Monksfield, said: "It was no easy feat but we were heartened by the assistance we received from the government officials. We are proposing to call this the Merlion project given that both countries' icon is the Lion.""I believe that we are the first group in Singapore to be allocated such a large plot of land for a Tsunami re-housing project and we are very proud to be doing this on behalf of the people of Singapore for the people of Sri Lanka," she added.She led a team of 7 professionals on a second trip to Sri Lanka from February 10-15 for the Tsunami Re-Housing Project.The team met the Minister of Urban Development and Water Supply, Dinesh Gunawardena, and visited the allocated site to ensure that the land was suitable and accessible by road and the development would have access to water and electricity facilities.A local Sri Lankan team will be appointed to undertake the architectural and engineering work and project management alongside Singaporean specialists
