Hong Kong, Dec. 3 (CNA) A nine-day exhibition of Buddhist Master Hsing Yun's calligraphic works opened Sunday at Hong Kong Central Library, on the eighth stop of the exhibition's world tour.
Hundreds of people lined up to enter the library Sunday ahead of the opening of the exhibition, according to a source at the library.
The exhibition features 200 calligraphic works selected from a wide array of works by Master Hsing Yun, founder of the Fo Guang Shan Foundation for Buddhist Culture and Education, and grouped into three periods, the source said.
During the exhibition, the 80-year-old master will preside over an event to propagate Dharma in Hong Kong for the last time and will never make a public appearance or receive visitors thereafter, according to the source.
The exhibition's next stop will be Hong Kong University, before moving on to China, Taiwan and Australia early next year.
