Trình chiếu phim về một nữ tu Phật Giáo để gây quỹ giúp trẻ em.

Kathmandu, Nepal –Một cuốn phim nói về hành trình của một nữ tu sĩ trẻ từ nữ tu viện tọa lạc giữa đồi núi vắng lặng đến vùng đồng bằng lớn với “ thành phố đầy dẫy tội ác” và trụy lạc của họ, qua miêu tả sinh động của đạo diễn người Nepal ,sẽ được trình chiếu ở phương Tây để gây quỹ cho các học sinh nghèo tại một tỉnh bang Ấn Độ.
Đạo diễn người Nepal, Isering Rhitar Sherpa muốn phát hành cuốn phim “ Nghiệp Báo” như một đợt trình chiếu từ thiện tại Canada và US nhằm gây quỹ cho trẻ em mồ côi, nghèo khổ và các em học sinh TâyTạng tỵ nạn theo học tại Mussorie thuộc tỉnh bang Uttaranchal Ấn Độ
“Bản thân tôi được học hành ở một trường học ngoại quốc tại Mussoorie,” Sherpa 37 tuổi nói, người đã tạo được tên tuổi cho bản thân với cương vị một nhà làm phim tài liệu có văn phòng ở Kathamandu.” Cho nên tôi biết cảnh ngộ của các trường học trẻ em trước hơn ai hết
Cuốn phim nổi bật nhất của Sherpa cuốn phim “ Mukundo.:The Mask of Desire”là cuốn phim Nepal tham dự giải Oscar 2000.
Tại Mussoorie, nơi có mùa đông khắc nghiệt, các trường học đóng cửa trong suốt mùa nghỉ đông dài và những em trẻ có may mắn được trở về gia đình trong những thành phố của Ấn Độ,Bhutan và Nepal. Tuy nhiên, những em không có gia đình hoặc không có cơ hội du lịch, thời gian nghỉ hè trở nên cô đơn, thiếu thốn và buồn tẻ.
Film on Buddhist nun to help Mussoorie school kids

Kathmandu, Nepal -- A film on the journey of a young Buddhist nun from her sheltered nunnery among remote mountains to the plains with their 'sin cities' and vices, portrayed by an avant garde Nepali filmmaker, is going West to raise funds for underprivileged children studying in an Indian town.
Nepali director Tsering Rhitar Sherpa would release the film 'Karma' at a series of charity screenings in Canada and the US to raise money for orphans, destitutes and children of Tibetan refugees studying in schools in Mussoorie in India's Uttaranchal state.
'I studied in a boarding school in Mussoorie myself,' says the 37-year-old Sherpa, who has today made a name for himself as a documentary maker based in Kathmandu. 'So I know the plight of schoolchildren first hand.'
Sherpa's first feature film 'Mukundo: The Mask of Desire' was Nepal's entry for the Oscar in 2000.
In Mussoorie, where the winters are severe, schools close down during the long winter vacation and the luckier children return to families in other cities of India, Bhutan and Nepal. However, for those who have no families or are unable to afford the trip, the vacation becomes a period of loneliness and deprivation.
