Chuyên gia được giải thưởng về nghiên cứu đức tin Phật Giáo

Các chuyên gia tại Bristol đã lãnh giải thưởng 400,000 Anh kim cho sự nghiên cứu về các nghi lễ Phật giáo tại Đông Nam Á Châu và Trung Quốc.
Trung tâm nghiên cứu Phật giáo của Đại học Bristol đã lãnh giải thưởng về Hội Nghệ Thuật và Nghiên Cứu Khoa Học Nhân Văn.
Giải thưởng này sẽ gây quỹ cho một dự án ba năm về nghiên cứu các tang lễ Phật Giáo.
Kết quả của việc nghiên cứu này sẽ được công bố và cũng tổ chức cuộc triển lãm đã được họach định chương trình cho những ai thích thú về Phật giáo.
“Chúng tôi hoan hỷ và thích thú bởi giải thưởng lớn lao này từ Hội Nghiên Cứu Khoa Học Nhân Văn”, ông Dr. Gavin D’Costa, khoa trưởng của Phân Khoa Thần Học và nghiên cứu tôn giáo của đại học đã nói trên như trên.

Experts to study Buddhist beliefs

Experts in Bristol have been awarded £400,000 for research into Buddhist rituals in Southeast Asia and China.
The University of Bristol's Centre for Buddhist Studies has won the grant from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
It will fund a three-year project investigating Buddhist death rituals.
The results of the study will be published and also make up an exhibition designed to be accessible to anyone who is interested in Buddhism.
"We are delighted and excited by this substantial funding award from the AHRC," said Dr Gavin D'Costa, head of the university's department of theology and religious studies.
