Sự bừng tỉnh đến với anh chỉ một ngày sau khi anh bước ra khỏi buổi dạ yến suốt đêm với người mẫu thượng thặng Kate Moss.

Một người trong cuộc nói “ Anh ta bị lôi cuốn bởi Phật pháp và muốn cố gắng hành thiền nhiều hơn- anh đã tham dự một vài lớp thiền và cảm thấy an bình nhiều hơn sau đó.
Anh xem như họ sẽ giúp đỡ anh trên con đường phục hồi. Và anh thực sự bước trọn vào chất liệu tâm linh này.

Nhưng cũng không phải chỉ niềm tin mà anh mới tìm thấy bao bọc cho anh, Kate cũng giúp đỡ anh giữ vững sự lạc quan.

Pete đã phải ra hầu tòa lần thứ nhì tuần vừa qua sau khi nhìn nhận đã sử dụng ma túy.

PETE Doherty is turning to Buddhism to help him through his turbulent times.

And the Babyshambles frontman has told pals his spiritual new beginning is the only thing – apart from Kate Moss – which is saving him.

The revelations come just a day after the 27-year-old was pictured leaving an all-night party with catwalk queen Kate, 32.

An insider said: "He is fascinated by Buddhism and wants to try more meditation – he has been to a couple of classes and felt so much calmer afterwards.

"He reckons they will help him on the road to recovery. And he’s really into the whole spiritual side of stuff."

But it’s not just his new-found religion that’s keeping him ticking – Kate is also helping him keep his pecker up.

We’re told: "Pete and Kate have been in close contact for the past four weeks but have tried to keep things low-key.

"There will always be love between them. He can’t imagine life without her and she wants to be there for him."

Pete was in court a second time last week after admitting possession of crack and heroin and he lashed out out at fans and reporters as he left.

Close pals of Kate say she should steer clear of him for good.

"His lifestyle’s erratic," we’re told. "He is making inroads into dealing with his addictions, but there’s a long way to go."

For Pete’s sake petals, just sort things out.
