La Mã- Ý Ðại Lợi- Ngôi chùa Phật Giáo Trung quốc đầu tiên tại Ý Đại Lợi trở thành sự thực tại Rome – La Mã vào ngày 6 tháng 11, 2005.Chùa Pu Tuo Shan là một ý kiến của 3 cư dân Trung quốc ở thành phố. Ngôi chùa tọa lạc trên tuyến đường Ferruccio cạnh Piazza Vittorio trong khu vực Eswuilino.
8 tu sĩ từ tỉnh Triết Giang, Trung Quốc đã đến khánh thành ngôi chùa. Khu vực Esquilino là nơi mà dân cư Trung Quốc sống tại thành phố La Mã đều có doanh nghiệp.
Ngôi chùa gồm có 2 căn phòng; căn phòng đầu tiên có 2 bàn thờ, và căn phòng chính thiết trí bàn thờ chính.Trong phòng đầu tiên có một tượng Phật Di Lặc, vị Phật tương lai được tôn trí trên một bàn thờ và chư thiên thần hộ pháp được tôn trí trên một bàn thờ khác
Trong phòng chánh bạn sẽ thấy ba pho tượng, bên trái là tượng một giáo chủ của 6 cõi dục giới và 6 cõi luân hồi, trung tâm là tượng một vị Chánh Đẳng Gíac, bên phải là tượng Bồ Tát Guanyin( dịch âm từ Quán Âm của Trung Quốc ), có nghĩa là luôn luôn lắng nghe mọi âm thanh cuả thế giới, luôn luôn lắng nghe lời thỉnh cầu của chúng sinh.
Khách hành hương mang trái cây đến cúng dường Đức Phật và chung quanh các pho tượng đầy những táo, nho, cam quít và dầu olive.Các tượng Phật được khắc chạm bằng gỗ, và đã đến Ý Đại Lợi sau 2 tháng được chuyển vận bằng đường hàng hải từ thành phố Ninh Ba Trung Quốc
Với sự hoàn thành của ngôi chùa này chúng ta có thể kết luận rằng Rome là một nơi tập trung tất cả các tôn giáo. Nơi đây có nhiều nhà thờ Thiên Chúa giáo, Gíao Đường Do Thái, nhà thờ Hồi Giáo và bây giờ cũng có ngôi chùa Phật Giáo. Rome – La Mã một thành phố cởi mở, ủng hộ lịch sử và tất cả tôn giáo.
Nếu bạn thích đến viếng thăm , ngôi chùa mở cửa mỗi ngày từ 7 giờ sáng đến 7 giờ tối. Những buổi lễ được cử hành vào ngày một và ngày 15 của mỗi tháng, theo âm lịch. Nơi đây cũng có những cuộc lễ hội cho những ngày lễ quan trọng được tổ chức theo âm lịch.

Italy's first Chinese Buddhist temple became a reality in Rome on Nov. 6. The Pu Tuo Shan temple is the brainchild of three Chinese residents of the city. It is on Via Ferruccio near Piazza Vittorio in the area of Esquilino.
Eight Buddhist monks from the Chinese province of Zhejiang inaugurated the temple. The area of Esquilino is where most of the Chinese population of Rome have their businesses.
The temple consists of two rooms; the first room, which holds two altars, and the main room which holds the main altar. In the first room there is a statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha on one of the altars, and his guards on the other.
In the main room you will find three statues of Buddha; on the left side is the master of the six worlds of desire and of the six destinies of rebirth, in the center he who possesses infinite meritorious qualities; on the right side is she who is the personification of perfect Compassion. Her name, Guanyin (translation "observing the sounds" in Chinese), means that she is always listening to all the sounds of the worlds, always listening to requests from her worshipper.
Pilgrims bring fresh fruit to the ceremony to honor the Buddha and the statues are surrounded by apples, grapes, bananas, mandarins and olive oil. The statues themselves are carved in wood, and arrived in Italy after a two-month journey by boat from the Chinese city of Ningbo.
With the arrival of this temple we can say that Rome finally is a house for all religions. There are many churches for Christians, a synagogue for Jews, a mosque for Muslims and now also a temple for Buddhists. Rome, an open city, is embracing history and all religions.
If you would like to visit, the temple is open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ceremonies are conducted on the 1st and 15th of every month, following the Chinese calendar. There are also ceremonies on the holidays, also following the Chinese calendar.
