Jakarta (Berita) : Một số đại diện của các tổ chức thanh niên ở Jakarta đã đòi hỏi chính phủ ngăn cấm các tu sĩ Phật giáo Nhật của phái Nichiren Shosu đến Indonesia vào ngày 25 tháng 1 năm 2005. Ông Nico Uskono, Tổng Chủ Tịch Tổ Chức Thanh Niên Công Giáo phát biểu vào tối thứ Ba là “Chúng tôi đòi Chính phủ ngăn cản họ vào Indonesia vì e ngại rằng họ sẽ gây nên sự chia rẽ tôn giáo ở Indonesia”. Những thông báo gần đây cho biết Abe Nikken, người đứng đầu phái Nichiren Shosu ở Nhật trong một bài phát biểu đã hạ uy tín của hai tôn giáo khác. Cựu Bộ Trưởng Bộ Tôn Giáo, ông Tarmizi Taher, trong một bài báo đăng trong một tờ báo hàng đầu ở đây vào ngày 7 tháng 1 năm 2005 đã nói rằng lời phát biểu của ông Abe phản ánh một thái độ không khoan dung, xem thường và có ý muốn loại trừ tôn giáo khác. Liên quan đến lời phát biểu của ông Abe cùng với chuyến viếng thăm của một đoàn đại biểu gồm 88 thành viên, trong đó có các tu sĩ, cùng các phu nhân và đệ tử của họ dự định diễn ra vào ngày 25 tháng 1 năm 2005, để tham dự một buổi lễ Phật giáo đặc biệt, một số các đại biểu thanh niên đã yêu cầu chính phủ ngăn cấm họ đến Indonesia. Ông Nico cũng yêu cầu Bộ Cư Trú huỷ bỏ thị thực đã được cấp bởi Sứ Quán Indonesia ở Tokyo.

Jakarta ( Berita ) : A number of exponents from various youth organizations in Indonesia had urged the government to ban Japanese Buddhist monks of the Nichiren Shosu sect from coming to Indonesia scheduled on January 25, 2005. "We are urging the government not to allow them to enter Indonesia as it is feared they might cause a disruption of religious harmony in Indonesia," General Chairman of the Catholic Youth Organization Nico Uskono said here Tuesday night. Recent reports have it that Abe Nikken, chief of the Japanese Nichiren Shosu sect, delivered a sermon discrediting two religions. And former Religious Affairs Minister Tarmizi Taher had even said in an article carried in a leading newspaper here on January 7, 2005, that Abe's statement reflected an exclusive and intolerant attitude and disrespect of another religion. In connection with Abe's statement and the planned visit of an 88-member delegation of Buddhist monks, their wives and followers to Indonesia on January 25, 2005, to attend a special Buddhist ritual, a number of youth exponents had urged the government to ban them from entering the country. Nico also urged the Directorate General of Immigration to cancel the visas already issued by the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo.(ant)
