Exposition of Buddha relics found in Kapilawasthu in Lanka Rasika Somarathna COLOMBO: The Lankan Buddhists would shortly have the opportunity of paying homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha which was found in Kapilawasthupura in India as an exposition of the Tooth Relic has been planned from October 09-15 in Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Gampaha, Kegalle and Kurunegala districts. The exposition has been organised by the Ministry of Cultural and National Heritage in collaboration with the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka. The President's office has appointed a special committee to coordinate the event. In addition the Media Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Defence Ministry and the relevant Provincial Council Authorities would act in close collaboration with the Cultural and National Heritage Ministry to make the event a success.
